Does Medihelp pay for MRI scan?
If you need a scan
Your doctor may require a CT scan or MRI to confirm a diagnosis and Medihelp’s plans provide cover for unlimited scans during hospitalisation. If you choose a plan that offers more comprehensive cover or a larger savings account, you also enjoy cover for scans while not in hospital.
Does Medihelp pay for blood tests?
What is covered? You can have various screening tests done at one of our wellness partners every year, including blood glucose and cholesterol tests. Visit any of Medihelp’s designated service providers, such as Dis-Chem and Clicks, to do a routine test. Click here to search for a provider.
What does Medihelp hospital plan cover?
Medihelp pays benefits for hospitalisation at 100% of the Medihelp tariff (the tariff contracted with hospitals for services). Your cover for hospitalisation has no overall annual limit. You may be responsible for procedure-specific co-payments on certain non-PMB procedures.
